Trinityhouse High School pupil Michelle Steven has a lot of ball sense.

Trinityhouse High School pupil Michelle Steven had a very successful sport year in 2013.

”As a young woman I have not yet specialised in any particular sport and at this stage I am trying to participate in as many sports as possible at the highest level I am able to,” said the 15-year-old.

Steven is in Grade 10 and last year was selected for the Northern District team for cross country for the second time. She participates in many other sports such as tennis and softball. She currently plays in the tennis and softball first teams and is considered one of the top two tennis players in the school. ”I have been selected for the Central Gauteng Indoor Netball team for a tournament in March this year and made the Johannesburg Softball Schools U15 Provincial team as vice captain.” She was also selected for the All Stars SA U15 softball team.

”My goal is to make the the Johannesburg Softball Schools U17 Provincial team and tour to East London in December 2014, and to be selected for the cross country Northern District team this cross country season. I look forward to the challenge of participating as a senior sportswoman this year.”
