The general manager of the Randburg SPCA Craig Rudman expressed Christmas greetings.
“The management and staff of the SPCA Randburg would like to take this opportunity to wish all the Randburg and surrounding community a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year,” he said. “We are deeply grateful for your contributions over this past year and look forward to your continued support in the next year to come.
“If you are a pet owner and going away for the festive season please notify your neighbour or someone close that your pets will be attended to in your absence. We get calls and false alarms that pets have been abandoned or unattended to when there is no one home.
“Please remember that when celebrating this festive season people are going to set off fireworks. Make sure your animals are well taken care of. If your pet has wandered off or run away please check local vet clinics and your local SPCA.
