Randburg SPCA thanked all of the individuals and companies that supported it last year.
SPCA manager Craig Rudman said, “Without the support, commitment and dedication of our community it would not be possible to care for the many animals that pass through our doors. Our role in educating our community and fighting the many incidents of cruelty exposed on a daily basis, is funded solely by your contribution and participation in our struggle.”
He added kitten and puppy season was also approaching as summer was around the corner, and many cases of abandonment and cruelty occur in the warmer months. “Add to this the fireworks in November and the holiday season in December and we have an astronomical task ahead of us still this year. With this in mind we plead for your continued support in our campaign against cruelty to all animals and that you share our plight with your neighbours.”
He said the public could support the organisation by visiting the Charity and Book Stores on site.
