The competition is tag and release which sustains the game fishing industry for years to come.President of the South African Sport Anglers and Casting Confederation John Pledger awarded the Protea colours (jackets) to the four anglers.
The president of South African Deep Sea Angling Association, Geoff Wanwig and Consul of Sierra Leone, Major General Keith Mokoape and his wife also attended the prestigious function. General Mokoape handed over small South African flags and congratulated the team.
