Make mental health matter

The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) offers a wide range of community based projects that are rolled out throughout the country.

These include rural outreach programmes, school programmes, press and media, Support Group Training, operating the 15 line Call Centre. School talks are vital and counsellors visi high schools countrywide to promote awareness on mental health issues such as teen suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, bullying, the dangers of peer pressure, cutting and exam stress.

SADAG is looking for dedicated mature people who are willing to share their time and who have had important life experiences, which can often help our callers considerably, to volunteer in our Mental Health Crisis Call Centre.
