What to expect in tonight’s World Cup matches

SOCCER WORLD CUP – Senegal will need to carry their momentum from the win against Poland in to their game agaisnt the group's joint-leaders, Japan.

Today will see England play against Panama at 2pm, Japan take on Senegal at 5pm and Poland pitted against Colombia at 8pm in the Soccer World Cup.

England is still a favourite to progress in group G along with Belgium, and needless to say, they will be looking to get a win over perhaps one of the weakest sides.

Much of Africa’s hopes of progression rest on Senegal who share the position at the top of group H with Japan.

If Senegal gets a win here, they can advance should the other games play in their favour.

The group’s bottom teams play in the last game today, and while there is still hope of progression should one of the sides lose this game, the chances of advancing are very small indeed for the loser.
