Rand Park celebrates superb results

RANDPARK RIDGE – Matriculants get the good news that kick starts them off on their new journey.

The outgoing Matriculants of Rand Park High School’s 2016 class celebrated with each other after receiving their results on 5 January.

For all the Matriculants in South Africa, today is the day that determines where they will be going in the future. Many of the learners who collected their results at the school explained that they had already received them from either the online or the SMS systems in place.

The school had 279 learners who wrote the exams with a pass rate of 99.6 per cent. Although not all of the final tallies have been counted, five learners achieved six distinctions with five learners earning five distinctions.

Principal, Alan Wilke said, “We are pleased with the high pass rate. Our school is proud of all the young adults who passed as well as the large amount of distinctions the group received.”

The top performing Matrics were:

Edie Hutchison, Saigan Mc Neill, Theodore Muka, Tarryn Sudbury and Kirstyn Zoutendyk.
