Expressing Hope Benefit Concert The Boys Are Back 2

Feeling like a ladies night out and helping a good cause at the same time? Then get down to the Mosaïek Teatro in Roodepoort at 7.30pm on 23 October. Know that fascinating voices of South African male artists Alexander Venter, Matthys Roets, Jakkie Louw, Dewald Wasserval and Kevin Leo will will keep you in awe. Tickets can be bought at Computicket and ticket money will be donated to various social programmes.

Springboks vs New Zeeland in The Globe at Silverstar

If you are a Springbok supporter, the Absa Boktown at Silverstar Casino will be the most exiting place for you to be. Come watch the nail-biting game against New Zealand. Rugby fans can experience the true green and gold spirit while watching the action-packed game live on a big screen in The Globe. Doors open at 3pm and kick-off is at 5pm. Don’t Dalla Wid Da Masala Comedy Show

There is no better therapy than a good laugh. Head down to the News Cafe in North riding on 29 October to see the hilarious, enigmatic and charismatic Karou Charou in the show Don’t Dalla Wid Da Masala. Musical Tribute to Garth McLeod

On 1 November at Greenhouse in Fourways, the musical talent of one of SA’s most loved rock icons will be relived. Fellow band members, wife and colleagues from Marshall Musiche will be playing tributes to the legend – the late drummer of the band Wonderboom Garth McLeod . There is no cover charge but donations to the Reach for a Dream Foundation gives you access.

Sleeping Beauty

The evergreen fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty, will come back to life with a new twist from7 November until 30 December at the Joburg Theatre. The tale of the beautiful princess Aurora who is cursed by a wicked witch will be a fascinating dance-infused comedy that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Be sure not to miss this once-in-a-life-time opportunity. Tickets will range from R 165 to R340. Shows start at 3pm and 7.30pm, depending on the dates.
