• Never Ready with Eugene Khoza

Eugene Khoza will be bringing his funny Never Ready show to The Lyric at Gold Reef City from 30 July until 1 August at 8pm. Khoza has been on Laugh out loud and also had a stint on Yfm. Join him as he will be delivering his jokes in an exclusive style.

• Newtown Junction in August

Kick-starting Women’s Month on 1 August at 11am is the Gold Reef Rhythmic Gymnastics Club with its African debut performance of the Save our Rhinos dance. Shoppers at Newtown Junction will also be treated to a live performance from Khala-Black, a special treat for Women’s Month. Their music embraces the heart and soul of African women.

• Beautiful

Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace will be showcasing spectacular fusion of beautiful showgirls, spectacular sets and costumes which runs until 9 August. This authentic casino extravaganza presents tasteful topless shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday late evening. Parental guidance is advised. Entrance fee R150.

•Tweak announces 10th Anniversary tour dates

Tweak, South Africa’s favourite band from the late 90s kick off their once-off 10th anniversary tour in August with a series of shows across Johannesburg and Cape Town. The band recently reformed for a once-off single. Catch them on 14 August at the Weltevreden Park’s Rumours Lounge at 9pm.

• Cat of the Year Competition

The Southern African Cat Council will be hosting its annual Cat of the Year event on 8 August at the Randpark Golf Club. The event will honour the top cats that were shown countrywide during the 2014 / 2015 show season. The show will be open to the public from 9am until 2pm, and entrance is free.

•Trey Songs in SA

The Say Ahhh hit maker and everyday man crush Trey Songs is finally making his way to SA. Catch him at the TicketPro Dome on 9 August at 7pm as he will be dazzling the audience with his performance.Tickets range from R650–R1 195.
