CRESTA — International rock band entertains the crowd in Cresta.
International band, Wishbone Ash rocked the house at the Barnyard Theatre in Cresta on 11 Juy.
The show was slightly delayed due to some power failures but that certainly did not deter the eager audience of die-hard fans. The show was part of the band’s 2015 World Tour, however, they are no strangers to the South African shores having last been here in May 2010.
The band, which has been releasing hits since the ’70s performed to a fairly more seasoned audience but the ambience was fun and ready to roll. Northcliff resident Janet Proudfoot said she was ecstatic to see the legendary rock stars on stage.
“I have been a huge fan since I was 15 years old and they are still brilliant. I am loving every second of the show and this is just amazing,” she beamed.
The band is expected to perform in Durban and Cape Town on 17 and 18 July.
