Flocks of excited fans stormed the gates of the TicketPro Dome to catch a glimpse of their favourite show Clarkson, Hammond & May Live on 12 June.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are the three that comprise the team of the most notorious and comical motor sporting personalities of our time.
The TicketPro Dome in Northriding also hosted American motor sporting hooligan Ken Block.
The expo show cased ‘all things car related’; from sound and interior design, to performance, speed and appearance.
Motorcycle junkies were not left in the cold as the show opened with Hammond and May arriving on two motorcycles.
Despite Clarkson’s apparent dislike for the ‘little boy toys’, the live show commenced with some amazing motorcycle stunts. Clarkson entered the arena in outstanding fashion by driving a hover craft.
Ken Block dazzled the audience in his custom black Ford Mustang, by drifting unnervingly close to the barriers.
Without disappointing the audience, the show followed the typical format of their British television show.
Amazing cars were on display from 52 years of Lamborghini, to the elite of luxury cars like the Maserati Quattroporte and the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The team spun a South African twist on the show by bringing out an innovative and local dance crew. They used spinning rims and stunts on the car, which one would be accustomed to in our country. Pyrotechnics were also in abundance. Ultimately, what more can a motor head love other than, fast cars, beautiful fire wielding women and their favourite, Clarkson, Hammond and May live.
