The 10th annual Oyster, Wine and Food Festival was held at Montecasino on 7 May.
The event was a light teaser leading up to the bigger main event set to take place from 29 to 31 May 2015.
Montecasino public relations manager, Sian Bailey said the festival was another exciting addition to the premier entertainment destination.
“We are known as the mecca of food and wine festivals and this is a great success for all our patrons. The festival spent nine years at one venue and for the 10th year, we are excited to have it here at Monte.”
More than 65 000 oysters were flown in with a selection of more than 300 wines to sip on. The festival will also expose wine and food vendors in Joburg.
