Amuse Café rocks for Cancer

LINDEN - The debut performance of Skarlit brings in the proceeds for the Choc Cow foundation.

The Amuse Café in Linden rocked out in aid of the Chow Cow on 24 October.

Jozi Studio and Amuse Café held a band night where a cascade of music could be heard vibrating the windows to raise funds for cancer.

MeerkatMob, The Psykotix, Surdus and Yesterday’s Heroes all entertained the crowd with electrifying beats.

Shayne Robinson of Jozi Studio’s commented, ”I have been working closely with the Choc Cow foundations for about five years, it is a dear and close thing to my heart, therefore we combined the debut of the new girl band Skarlit with an event to raise funds and awareness for cancer.”

The four girls – Victoria Gordon, Skully Maharaj, Nicole Artman and Rixie Campbell were all very excited and nervous to perform on stage for the first time as a group.

Skarlit, ”has been affected by cancer and as a result felt privileged to be jamming out for a good cause.”
