The new headgirl of Laerskool Fontainebleau, Elana Crocker shares her thoughts in her new role.
She wrote:
I feel very happy and a bit surprised to be chosen for this important role. This comes with a lot of pressure. Next year it will be hard and stressful, but I am up for the challenge.
I will try with all my will and strength to make 2024 the best year possible for our school. It is very important to have good leaders in schools because even the little Grades Rs look up to us. We must set a good example for them. They copy what we do so I want to be a good leader. I am very confident in everything that I do. I have the patience to listen to everyone.
To everyone writing their finals I wish all of you the best of luck, just pray for strength and do everything in your power to learn. And be careful and do not push too much it can disturb your concentration.
