Tin Road Market is well supported

Monthly market has a variety of stalls to ensure just about every product is sold.

Hundreds of community members show their support to local goods producers and the Happy Yappers Animal Sanctuary, at the monthly Tin Road Market.

The Bromhof-based market is held on the first Saturday of each month with a whopping 80 stalls. One of the drawcards of this market is that it is pet-friendly and Happy Yappers always has puppies that can be played with, taken on lead through the market area, or even adopted on the day.

“I am very happy with how the market has been going; we see a lot of variation in the products that are sold,” market organiser Tracey Cownley said.
“For instance, we have one guy who sells his own cheese so when another person asks if they can come set up a cheese stall I usually say no. We give first preference to our regular stall owners and there is always a waiting list for people who want to set up here.”

Jill and Keith Downing are among those who visit regularly. In fact, they adopted their dog Dexter through the animal sanctuary and brought him along to the next market.
