Ferndale resident wants an answer to loadshedding

Ferndale resident complains about the price of data and solar power amid loadshedding.

Ferndale resident, Eric Lobi Ncube writes:

What is frustrating me at the moment is load-shedding.

Many people use wifi because data is so expensive in South Africa, but you can’t have wifi when there is no electricity.

People are always on the internet, busy on their phones and computers. We need technology to work.

At home, the children want to study but they cannot do it because of load-shedding.

We can be cooking at home and then the power goes off and only comes back at 23:00 and it is too late then.

It really affects everything. Life is stuck when there is no power.

I wish the government would improve the situation and do something about it.

Solar power is expensive so we cannot go onto that.
