Teams go hard at the return of the Randburg Basketball Festival

The Randburg Sports Complex was crowded with all basketball supporters and players.

On one of the hottest days this month, September 3, the Randburg Sports Complex was filled with some of South Africa’s finest basketball teams for the first edition of the Randburg Basketball Festival.

This women’s team won in their division at the festival.

The organiser of this well-attended event Leon Mwamba said the festival aimed to bring the best teams and players in Johannesburg together.

“It was really amazing to see the feedback that we received from the event. The whole idea was actually to just bring the youth and adult teams together for fun and friendly competitions,” said Mwamba.
