How long have you lived in your suburb?
Since 1975.

What do you love most about your area?
Convenient shops and medical facilities. The friendly people and Delta Park. Nursery schools, primary schools and a school for children with learning problems. A public swimming pool and squash courts. A community centre that once the renovations are finished will be fully booked again.

What makes your area unique?
Delta Park. Leafy trees along lots of the roads to keep the area cool in summer. Blairgowrie is like a village, families have lived here for three generations.

Where do you go locally to unwind or spend the afternoon?
Delta Park or hiking. Dog training.

In what ways has your area improved recently?
New buildings, Blairgowrie Community Association keeping the area pretty and clean. Ferndale on Republic – a wonderful shopping centre with all the shops one needs.

What would you like to see change in your area and how can you contribute to this?
The substations being cleared and secured to keep vagrants out and prevent shorts in the wiring resulting in power outages. New water pipes to prevent leaks. The roads being repaired, no more potholes. The speed humps being repainted and visible. More fire trucks in the fire station.
