Plants and trees coming to Randburg CBD

The landscapers and architects in the Johannesburg Development Agency team promised that these will be indigenous.

The Randburg CBD Public Environment Upgrade Project will feature several trees and plants in its design.

The landscapers and architects in the Johannesburg Development Agency team promised that these will be indigenous, if there is a change in plans, though the exact tree species and their locations has already been determined.

The soft landscaping design will be as pictured, with the greenery featuring mainly on the pavements but one will be on the island in Jan Smuts Avenue.

The trees will mainly be the olea Europaea, subspecies Africana, while the plants will be bulbine frutescens and carpobrotus edulis.

The landscaped island tree will also be olea Europaea, subspecies Africana.
