Many of the 38 arrests Honeydew police officers made recently have been for violent crimes.
Honeydew Police Station spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said these arrests were made throughout the policing precinct from June 26 until the morning of June 30.
“Some of the arrests [were for] housebreaking and theft, drunken driving, assault GBH [with intent to cause grievous bodily harm], assault common, business robbery and murder, attempted murder and assault GBH,” he said.
“These arrests were made throughout the week by members of SAPS Honeydew.”
Muthan concluded by commending the officers for the arrests made.
