Randburg’s young TikTok entrepreneur

Tiktoker turns a remark from her friends into a business.

A qualified interior designer and one of Randburg’s widely-known TikTok entrepreneurs, Que Dlamini (25) mentors the public on how to be their own Airbnb host without purchasing property.

Dlamini is an adventurous, liberal and social-minded entrepreneur, who has sparked the attention of many socially inquisitive minds.

“I moved into my apartment in Randburg, it was really nice. Once I started furnishing it I had friends over. They would comment on how it felt almost like a hotel and that’s when the idea sparked. So I started with my first Airbnb in the one that I’m living in now, then I got others and it took off from there,” said Dlamini.

With her influence on TikTok, the Ferndale resident took note of how intrigued people were with her one-woman business. “People want to be able to do this by themselves, so I decided let me just teach people.” Her first class had 10 attendees and her most recent 100, which supported her reason for wanting to help people.

When Dlamini is not helping the public, she spends her time going out to different restaurants that have a ‘pretty aesthetic’ which allows her to ‘just escape’ reality.

In closing, she advised, “Shoot you’re shot at life. The worst you can get is a no but what if you get a yes?”
