Honeydew police arrest 43 last week
These arrests were for rape, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, theft, driving under the influence and shoplifting.
A total of 43 suspects were arrested by Honeydew police last week.
Honeydew Police Station spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said that between May 2 and 06:00 on May 6, police arrested these suspects as a result of operations and investigations.
“These suspects have been arrested for various crimes ranging from drunken driving, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, rape, theft and shoplifting. These suspects will appear at Randburg and Roodepoort magistrates’ courts soon.”
