There was much encouragement between members of society when police officers, pastors and community leaders met for a spiritual meeting.

Frontline City Church hosted pastors and leaders from the area and Honeydew Police officers, for their Divine Intervention Conference on September 30.

The Christian believers worshipped and prayed together for strength, love and integrity as they fought social ills.

Those who spoke were Frontline’s pastor, Hannes Wessels, and Honeydew Police sergeants Anthony Kholo and Phumelelo Kraai.

Police officers also attended from the office of major general Max Masha, who is responsible for 41 police stations in the Joburg area.

“The purpose was to gather the pastors around Honeydew police’s precinct even though we couldn’t reach all of them,” explained Sergeant Mamasedi May.

“This to put in place the divine intervention – pastors to work together with SAPS – to fight crime in the spiritual realm. Together we can fight crime.”
