RANDPARK RIDGE – The tournament will feature a field of 156 professional golfers from 19 to 22 November 2020.
The Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Geoff Makhubo attended the launch of the 2020 Joburg Open.
The Joburg Open, hosted by the City of Johannesburg, will be the first international men’s golf tournament on South African fairways, following the countrywide hard lockdown.
The return of the Joburg Open tournament will be played on the Randpark championship golf course, Firethorn. The tournament will feature a field of 156 professional golfers from 19 to 22 November 2020.

The tournament size will be reduced from the normal two fields to one, in terms of the number of players and caddies the number will be reduced to 156 each. The tournament will be played without spectators as per the Minister of Sport, Recreation Arts and Culture’s guidelines and directives.
The Pro-Am is a networking session where professional golfers and amateur golfers play in teams.
