NOTICE: Pipe replacement under way in Ferndale
FERNDALE – Contractors are replacing a pipe at Vine Road causing water shortage in the area.
Johannesburg Water contractors are currently (15 July) replacing a pipe at Vine Road, Ferndale. The pipe repairs started yesterday, 14 July.

Please note that we are aware of complaints of low pressure and no water in Vine. Please note this point repair was just for today. The contractor will be replacing the length of pipe that is required. We will advise on the details. ^p— Johannesburg Water (@JHBWater) July 14, 2020
No estimated repair time has been provided. “The contractor has already trenched about 20 metres yesterday (14 July). They should complete about 150 metres of pipe today (15 July). We will keep updating customers,” said Joburg Water in a statement.
