NOTICE: The City of Joburg to reopen three more licensing centres

JOBURG – Randburg Driver's License Testing Centre to reopen on Monday, 22 June.


The City of Johannesburg’s Public Safety Department will reopen three addition Licensing Centres on 22 June.

This will bring the total number of operational centres to eight. The additional Motor Vehicle Registering Authority (MVRA) and Driver’s License Testing Centres(DLTC) that have met the necessary health measures and have been approved for resumption of services are:

  • Langlaagte MVRA, DLTC and Mini Bulk
  • Randburg DLTC
  • Florida DLTC.

Centres that are still to reopen are Midrand DLTC and Randburg MVRA. “These will re-open once they have met the Covid-19 health measures,” said the department of Public Safety on a statement released on 19 June.
