Keeping Honeydew Police Station clean

HONEYDEW – A cleaning team from Fidelity ADT worked tirelessly to help clean the Honeydew Police Station.

With the help of the Honeydew Community Police Forum, a cleaning team from Fidelity ADT worked tirelessly to help clean the Honeydew Police Station’s customer service centre and other surfaces at the station to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 on 31 March.

As the police are considered essential services and still have to work with residents who visit the station, it is of utmost importance that surfaces at the station stay clean.

The Honeydew CPF’s Micheal Steyn said, “The Honeydew CPF would like to thank Fidelity ADT for coming to the call of assistance. Fidelity ADT saw our request for help towards our police officers, and they had another idea to be part of our call of help during this crisis.”

The team visited the police station bright and early in the morning and did a total sanitation wipe down of all surfaces within the station. “The priority was obviously the customer service centre where there are visitors on a daily basis. But it did not end there, as the team worked their way to all offices,” said Steyn.

The CPF would like to thank representatives from Fidelity Services Group for their efforts. “This is all in aid of aiming to stop the spread of Covid-19 and ensuring the safety of officers and residents visiting the Honeydew Police Station.”
