Covid-19: Finding strength in book pages

PINE PARK – Local author, Evadeen Brickwood shares her list of books you should during the lockdown.


During these trying times we face as a nation and the world at large it would easy, and quite understandable, to fall prey to thoughts of complete defeat.

It is in times like these that one needs to remember the simple joys and find refuge in the positive, enlightening thoughts of others. So, while you at home the next couple of weeks why not find refuge in books that are sure to motivate you and give the courage you need to sustain a positive outlook on life.

Local author, Evadeen Brickwood gave us her list of books she thinks are sure to be inspirational and uplifting. Whether these books have you set sail across the five oceans or help you find your inner warrior, one thing is for sure, she hopes they induce a smile.
