On Monday, 9 December at 1.24pm, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting in Randpark Ridge, Randburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that two people were wounded and were treated on the scene by paramedics from Netcare 911 and Emer-G-Med ambulance services. Once stabilised, both patients were transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
Netcare 911 confirmed that one person sustained a fatal injury and was declared deceased on the scene. They have also confirmed that it was a domestic dispute.
Circumstances leading up to the shooting is investigated by the relevant authorities.
