Curro Aurora’s four-ball does their school proud

SUNDOWNER – The main event was played on Serengeti Golf Club's brand new 18-hole signature par 3 course.

A four-ball comprised of the Curro Aurora’s golf team, Jayden Hoskins, Luke van Vuuren, Kaitlyn van de Vyfer and Tayen Plaatjies, participated in the annual Curro Serengeti Primary School Golf Tournament on 28 October.

Jayden Hoskins ended up beating Luke van Vuuren’s leading scorer with his final stroke, allowing him to claim first position in the accuracy competition.

The main event was played on Serengeti Golf Club’s brand new 18-hole signature par 3 course. This was a tightly contested affair with some of Central Gauteng and Ekurhuleni’s top golfers participating in the tournament.

Jayden Hoskins managed to out play his fellow competitors and ended up winning the Curro Serengeti Primary School Golf Tournament.

During the warm-up for the main competition, players were invited to take part in a Trackman accuracy competition.

Players were given three shots to get as close to a 70m pin as possible. The Trackman followed each shot and gave each player an average score according to how close the ball was to the pin.

Congratulations also go to Luke van Vuuren who finished in third place.

The school gave a big well done to all the Curro Aurora golfers.
