Winners are announced

Oyez, oyez, oyez! Readers had their say. The votes have been tallied. Now it’s time to reveal the winners of the Best of Joburg Readers’ Choice Awards 2019.

Oh yay, for sure! Every year for the past 24 years, the Best of Joburg team has called on the staunchest Joburgers – our readers – to share their views on the grandest places to visit, top accessories to buy and the finest things to do in the City of Gold.

This year was no different. Happily, our readers weren’t afraid to share their top finds and cast their all-important votes in the Best of Joburg Readers’ Choice Awards 2019. Our team here at the Best of Joburg HQ couldn’t keep a secret – even if we tried – so we’ve compiled a little booklet as a nifty guide for you to find all the very best things the city has to offer, according to Joburgers.

Be sure to get your hands on a copy – you’ll find it bagged along with the seriously festive November issue of Get It Joburg North at various stores, malls and shopping centres in our northern suburbs (check out www. getitmagazine.co.za/joburg-north for the full list). If you’re more of a techno-fundi, then see the winners on www.bestofjoburg.co.za.

If you’re totally desperate to know who won (we know the feeling), then let us leave you with a little appetiser. Randburg residents, among the very best of the best things to do, see and buy in Joburg, you can celebrate knowing that in your neighbourhood you’ll find the best patisserie – Patisserie de Paris, the best garden centre – Lifestyle Home Garden, the best tea garden – The Silver Birch Restaurant and the best golf course – Randpark Golf Club.
