Bromhof finally gets road resurfacing

BROMHOF – Ward 101 councillor Dalu Cele has confirmed the streets to be resurfaced in Ward 101.


Ward 101 councillor Dalu Cele has announced that the Johannesburg Roads Agency has released and confirmed the streets to be resurfaced in Ward 101 during the 2019/2020 financial year.

The following streets below are on the list for road resurfacing:

1. Hawken Avenue

  • From Ford Street to Ostrich Road
  • From Ostrich Road to Tin Road
  • From Panther Road to Ford Street
  • From Steenloper Close to Kiewiet Road
  • From Tin Road to Steenloper Close

2. Ostrich Road

  • From Bromhof Road to Moorhen Avenue
  • From Crow Street to Nagtegaal Street
  • From Hawken Avenue to Parrot Street
  • From Moorhen Avenue to Hawken Avenue
  • From Nagtegaal Street to Witogie Street
  • From Parrot Street to Crow Street
  • From Witogie Street to Hans Schoeman St EB

3. Tin Road

  • From Barbara Street to Hawken Avenue
  • From Bromvoel Crescent to Dwars Street
  • From Buiten Avenue to Tin Road Slip
  • From Dwars Street to Sandpiper Avenue
  • From Kelly Avenue to Bromvoel Crescent
  • From Kelly Avenue to Suikerbekkie Street
  • From Nyala Road to CR Swart Drive
  • From Private Road to Buiten Avenue
  • From Private Road to Suikerbekkie Street
  • From Sandpiper Avenue to Barbara Street
  • From Tin Road Slip to CR Swart Drive

“I will communicate further information as and when more details emerge from the Johannesburg Roads Agency, regarding the commencement of the road resurfacing project in Bromhof,” said Cele.
