West Pack gets a re-opening

West Pack Lifestyle fans gathered bright and early on the morning of 29 August at West Pack’s Randburg store to celebrate the store’s grand re-opening.

Visitors were treated to a variety of activities and competitions including a spin-the-wheel challenge and the store’s famous trolley dash, where competitors get to stuff as many items into their trolleys as they can in 30 seconds.

Manager of West Pack Lifestyle Chantelle Castanho said, “I personally have been here for over 10 years and we have decided to give the store a fresh new look. We had some fantastically fun activities for our customers today with a variety of prizes on offer.”

Local celebrities Clint and Steffi Brink were invited to take part in the trolley dash, with their winnings donated to the Randburg SPCA.

The Scandal! actor Clint said, “I felt amazing after the trolley dash and I’ve realised that I need to come to West Pack more so I know where the good stuff is for next time. We really appreciated being a part of this and any form of giving back to our community is something that we stand for.

“We are animal people and have two bull terriers of our own, so any help we can give animals in need is really special.”

The Survivor SA: Island of Secrets star Steffi said, “I grabbed as many dog products as I could as I am a dog lover. There is always a need to help animals and I feel that there is not enough of it being done. I really appreciated being invited to take part in this today.”

Other lucky contestants competed against the clock to claim winnings for themselves.
