Linden police detain man for being in possession of a stolen vehicle

A suspect will soon appear at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court to face charges of possession of a stolen vehicle.

According to Constable Takalani Matumba of Linden Police Station, they received a complaint about a suspicious vehicle at a local shopping centre found along Beyers Naudé Drive. “On arrival, the police were shown to a white Toyota Tazz by the security and found a male seated in the vehicle,” she explained.

Matumba added the officers found that the car had been reported stolen at another station and that it had a case number. “The suspect was arrested and detained at Linden Police Station.”
