RANDPARK RIDGE – Jody Martins, the new cricket coach looks forward in pushing the boys to new levels.


RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge is excited to announce the appointment of their new head cricket coach who aims to bring a new dawn of coaching to many talented youngsters.

The welcoming of Jody Martins as their new coach means that the school is looking forward to seeing the changes made by him and to see the players improve throughout his time spent with them. The school has high expectations of Martins.

Martins is also the coach of Celestial Knights in the Lenasia Cricket League and is the Randburg Cricket Club Juniors head coach.

Martins’ experience ranges from coaching five-year-old youngsters and teaching them the basics of the game to working with international cricketers on their mental game. He is highly knowledgeable on all facets of the game.

Martins said, “I’m looking forward to pushing the programme and the boys to a new level as well as focusing on the enjoyment of playing a competitive sport.”

He’s a coach that believes in hard work but also wants players to enjoy it for the love of the game.
