Meet Honeydew police’s new head of support
HONEYDEW – Honeydew Police Station has a new head of support.
HONEYDEW – The new head of support at Honeydew Police Station is ready to help the station run like a well-oiled machine.
Colonel Mila Makgamatha started his new role as the head of support at the station in December 2018.
Before coming to Honeydew, the Colonel was based at Roodepoort Police Station as their head of human resources management since 2007.
Makgamatha said, “I am so happy to be working in my new role, which entails supply chain, human resources, admin, and support staff management to support our functional members.”
He said that so far his job is going very well, and there are a lot of things that he would like to achieve and challenges that he would like to address.
“One of the main things I would like to address is that the station is still occupying a leased property with many buildings. The sooner we can get a standardised built police station the better,” said Makgamatha.
