How to make a success out of high school
RANDPARK RIDGE – Grade 12 learners give away tips to their peers.
Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge’s matric learners gave the following advice on how to have a successful school career.
Academic advice:
- “You need to work hard and give your best at all times. You also need to be actively involved in the classroom,” said Lara Goosenn.
- “Be prepared to learn and pay attention in the classroom. You can benefit a lot for exam study by just simply listening,” said Thulani Dube.
- Extramural advice:
- “Try one extramural a term. It gets your mind off school and keeps you healthy,” said Thulani Duben.
- “To be culturally successful you need to be socially aware, kind, caring and well prepared,” said Asanda Nzimande.
Social advice:
- “Know your self-worth,” said Kelly Jose
- “Having honest, kind and respectful interactions with your peers and authority,” said Daniel Nel
