Community helps Cresta donate clothes to those who need them

CRESTA – Cresta Shopping Centre thanks community for contributing to a charity clothing initiative.

Cresta Shopping Centre handed over more than 400 previously loved items of clothing to local charity initiatives.

The clothes were generously donated by community members who had travelled far and wide to visit the 2018 Cresta Lifestyle Fair.

Various kinds of clothing are collected during the 2018 Cresta Lifestyle Fair.

The donations of both formal and casual clothing will find new homes at the Tshepo Community Development Initiative and the Harambe Youth Employment Accelerator.

The Tshepo Community Development Initiative provides community support and assistance to the people of Windsor and was founded as a response to the growing number of homeless and unemployed people in the area.

Formal clothing will be donated to job seekers so they can go for interviews as a sustainable means of helping the community at the Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator.
