Children recycle at Blairgowrie Primary

BLAIRGOWRIE – The children learned the importance of taking care of their environment.

At their annual Market Day recently Blairgowrie Primary School children worked hard to show they had some serious business savvy and took the time to learn how they can make their environment better.

The event was said to not only be aimed at teaching the children about business skills but it was meant to raise money for the school.

Over 100 children participated and parents came to give support to the school.

Companies like The Glass Recycle Company (TGRC) also attended the event and had a stand at the market day to teach and promote recycling.

The children were said to have been extremely interested in recycling and managed to persuade the principal to place a glass bank at the school.

The company taught the children why it is so important to recycle and will soon begin the process of placing a recycling glass bank at the school.

Through their teaching, the company hoped the children learned more about how they can take care of the environment around them.
