Andrews Academy knits blankets for CHOC
WINDSOR GLEN – Mandela celebrated in a special way.
Andrews Academy and Preparatory School youngsters put their crocheting skills to the test to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s centenary year.
The children made a number of squares and blankets to donate to the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation.
They learned to crochet squares used to make the blankets in June when the 67 Blankets organisation visited the school.
