What to expect in tomorow’s World Cup matches

SOCCER WORLD CUP – France will fancy their chances against an Argentina side visibly lacking in confidence. Then Uruguay and Portugal will go toe to toe.

The round of 16 is upon us and every team that has made it to this stage of the Football World Cup deserves to be there.

There will be no second chances now as France take on Argentina at 4pm and Uruguay play Portugal at 8pm tomorrow (30 June).

The winners of group C, France, do not look as good as they have done in recent years but will fancy their chances against an Argentinian side that only scraped into the last 16.

Having said that, Argentina is still the favourites despite visibly lacking confidence in recent matches.

Uruguay and Portugal will be more evenly matched, and both have looked good in the group stages.

Players to watch out for include Uruguay’s star, Luis Suárez, and Christiano Ronaldo of Portugal.
