Free basic first aid and basic CPR classes for all

RANDBURG – Be Safe Paramedical inform residents why it is so important to take basic first aid and basic CPR classes.

Be Safe Paramedical is urging residents to take free basic first aid and basic CPR classes to prevent drowning incidents of children.

Community educator, Chris Viviers said they urged residents with swimming pools on their properties to ensure the pools were safe for children.

“Pools can be safeguarded by erecting fences around the pool with child safety locking mechanisms for the gate,” added Viviers.

He added that another important measure was to put a child safety net over the pool.

Viviers said the Joburg Emergency Medical Services offered free basic first aid and CPR classes.

“We are urging the Randburg residents to make use of this golden opportunity at their disposal.”
