Family seek justice in court

JOBURG – Peters family returns to court this week.

Natalie Peters and her family will return to the Randburg Magistrates’ Court this week.

Peters’ brother Caleb Reddy died in a vehicle collision and the driver of the other vehicle has been charged with reckless endangerment, drunk driving and culpable homicide.

Bail was denied for the driver and the case was postponed to later this week.

“They tried to lie claiming the man was a foreign student here in the country for a visit, but his visa had expired in October,” said Peters.

“He was not even supposed to be on our country’s roads. I am pleading with the community for support so that incidents such as these do not occur in our country.”

Peters urged any witnesses to the accident which occurred in front of the Sandton Mediclinic sometime between 11.30pm on 26 December and 1.30am on 27 December to come forward with any information.
