One dies and another left in critical condition after car accident
RANDBURG – Another tragic death on local roads.
A man was killed and a woman was left in critical condition following a motor vehicle collision which occurred on CR Swart Drive on 6 December.
Spokesperson for ER24, Annine Siddall said, “A man was killed and a woman was left in critical condition after a bakkie and a car collided. The accident happened at 1 pm.
“ER24 paramedics rushed to the scene to find the man trapped in his vehicle but unfortunately nothing could be done to rescue him. He was declared dead on the scene.”
Paramedics treated the woman on the scene before she was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Three other motorists were involved in the accident and sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The details surrounding the accident are still unknown, however, an investigation has been launched by local authorities.
