A children’s day in Windsor Glen

WINDSOR GLEN – Children were treated to a day of delight as they are celebrated.

Children of Windsor Glen and surrounds were treated to a special day of fun and laughter at Dominion City Church.

A parishioner at the church and one of the organisers of the event, Andra Mthembu said the day was put together to celebrate children.

It was jam-packed with fun activities for them to enjoy such as face painting, jumping castles, football and a free movie.

“This was the perfect place for such an event as we want to help their community and the best way to start is with the children,” said Mthembu.

She added that such days served as a reminder to all that they too were once children and how we all need to help enrich the lives of all people but more so for the children.

Face painting was one of the activities children took part in at the event at Dominion City Church.

Pastor of the church, Emmanuel Onuoha said this was a way for them to build future leaders of the world.

“We believe that society must feel our impact hence we do various outreaches like this one,” said Onuoha. He added that at some of their outreach programmes they would invite professionals in varying fields to host free talks to the community. “We are passionate about our community.”
