Grandparents get a special treat at Trinityhouse

RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse Pre-Primary Randpark Ridge celebrated the importance of grandparents with a special concert for them.

There is a certain level of pride one feels when they are a grandparent.

It seems to come off as one of those full circle moments, seeing your child become a parent.

Trinityhouse Pre-Primary Randpark Ridge wanted to acknowledge this great role through a day dedicated to grandparents. The school recently spent a day in celebration of the importance of grandparents.

Grandparents watch a special concert done for them by their grandchildren.

This annual event had all grandparents invited to spend a day at the school.

Principal of the school, Andrea Brann said all the children put on a lovely concert for their grandparents as they sung many songs and brought much joy to all of those watching.

She added that grandparents were then welcomed to enjoy some tea and treats in the garden of the Grade 000s, 00s and Rs.

“Acknowledging the role that grandparents have played throughout their children’s lives was also a highlight of the day,” said Brann.

Brann said it was a memorable day for both the children and their grandparents.
