Pink Drive celebrates Christmas in July in Bryanston
BRYANSTON – All things pink were celebrated at Pink Drive's Christmas in July.
It was a fantastic evening spent with supporters and sponsors of Pink Drive as guests celebrated an early Christmas in July.
On 26 July, guests jammed into the beautifully decorated High Ground restaurant inside St Stithians College in the hope to raise money for the Pink Drive initiative.
Proud supporters of the cause such as Hot 91.9FM‘s presenter Darren Scott spoke about their journey with cancer.
The resounding message was that early detection save lives.
Host for the evening, Sam Cowen discussed her love for Pink Drive and all that the warriors do to help support cancer sufferers and their families.
Deputy Minister of Social Development, Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu thanked Pink Drive for all of their hard work. She said that without them a large amount of statistics surrounding breast cancer would not be available.
An auction with a variety of items such as GHD’s, paintings, weekend getaways and products saw R76 000 raised.
