Friendship found at Disney on Ice
NORTH RIDING – Young and old were entertained by memories of friendship at Disney On ice.
Disney on Ice Wonderful World entertained the crowds, which gathered on a cold winter’s evening at the TicketPro Dome on 30 June.
The 2017 show delivered as promised and focused on the highly popular, Pixar’s Toy Story 3 and Frozen. The beloved characters of Lion King opened the show with well-synchronised choreography by the wild animals that parade around the Savana.
Set and showmanship was definitely the highlight of the show with the use of pyrotechnics, snow and bubbles. Although, not quite as artistically pleasing as the previous year, large set designs created a visual spectacle for the young and old.
Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff from Frozen definitely stole the show and hearts of the crowd as they skated elegantly across the floor.
Disney classic characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck made brief appearances bringing the successful show together. They found that the best treasure on Earth is without a doubt – friendship
In totality Disney on Ice created a wondrous world from wheels to waves to an icy enchantment for the whole family to experience.
Shows continue until 9 July at the TicketPro Dome.
