Acacia Private School is rooted for success

NORTHRIDING – This school looks to make sure that those who are part of it will reap the rewards of success in all spheres of their lives.

Acacia Private Schools will enter the South African educational landscape, come January next year.

Named after the indigenous Acacia tree, the co-educational school has an ethos rooted in the word of God and Christian principles that form the basis of everything the school does. It also encourages renewal, fortitude, purity resilience and endurance.

It is the school’s vision to develop and grow the youth – a maximum of 700 schoolchildren – with a focus on creating a caring, family environment where every child will be regarded as a winner.

The logo beneath the school’s badge reads Radicati Quia Victoria, which means rooted for success. It is the school’s firm belief that as a result of their Christian roots, every child, parent or staff member will reap the rewards of success in every sphere of their lives.

Founder and chief executive officer of the school, Julikias Gandure has more than 25 years of experience in senior management positions in large corporates as a finance or operations executive, and in SMEs and has been chief executive officer of various businesses. Gandure’s vision for the school is for it to be a place where children are inspired to desire nobility, are taught to focus on things that matter in life, cultivate the discipline of hard work and practice responsible behaviour as a lifestyle.

The principal, Deon Visser has been in education for more than 40 years. His love and passion for shaping and forming the lives of the youth has been his focus over the past four decades. Visser was principal at Bryanston High School, Crawford College Sandton and Maragon Private School Ruimsig. He has collectively served for 19 years as a principal.

Acacia Private School is a traditional private school that will provide a 21st century academic offering. It is essential for the school that the youth is prepared for life after school by being equipped to pursue a tertiary education or career that will indeed add value to the community and the country as a whole.
