Exclusive art at NG Kerk Linden
LINDEN — Andanté Exclusive Art invites you to an exhibition from 2 – 4 March.
LINDEN – If you believe you are a true art connoisseur or even if you simply enjoy art, the upcoming Elbe van Rooyen exhibition at the NG Kerk Linden from 2 to 4 March is just for you.
Andanté Exclusive Art dealers’ Martie van Niekerk said visitors can enjoy a glass of sherry or wine, some snacks and free entrance.
“A wide variety of… Elbe’s paintings will be on display. I believe her impressionistic style will capture viewers and it is worth it to view her work – for any art lover. It takes you back to the previous era of Monet’s paintings,” she said.
With over 36 painting being exhibited, Van Niekerk said one of Van Rooyen’s pieces is sure to capture you.
According to her website, Van Rooyen exhibited her work for the first time at the age of 14. As a young child, she won first prize in a drawing competition with 300 competitors. Since then, her ability to capture people and surroundings effortlessly has led to widespread recognition from both local and overseas clients.
The demand among dealers and collectors for her luscious, impressionistic and painterly works came almost instantly and she has been tipped by some pundits as being one of the leading oils artists emerging in South Africa today.
The exhibition will begin on Thursday, 2 March and ends on Saturday, 4 March.
